50 First Avenue Officially Opens
50 First Avenue has officially opened in Maroochydore City Centre, marking a significant milestone in the continued evolution of the Sunshine Coast's emerging CBD.
As the precinct's first Premium A-Grade commercial office tower, the development strengthens Maroochydore City Centre's position as a destination for business, innovation and investment while providing the region with a new generation of workplace facilities designed to support future growth.
The opening has attracted a diverse mix of businesses, including Unitywater, ANZ Bank, LPE, Mott MacDonald and Envest, reflecting growing confidence in both the city centre and the wider Sunshine Coast economy.
Sunshine Coast Mayor Rosanna Natoli said the opening delivers on a long-held vision for the region.
"More than a decade ago, Sunshine Coast Council had a vision for a city centre that would give our community the same opportunities as Australia's major capital cities."

The 15-storey tower provides 10,000sqm of Premium A-Grade office space and has been designed to support modern ways of working through expansive floorplates, end-of-trip facilities, concierge services, activated ground-floor retail and a shared rooftop terrace.
Walker Corporation Managing Director and CEO David Gallant said the building's strong leasing performance reflects confidence in the future of the region.
