50 First Avenue Officially Opens

50 First Avenue has officially opened its doors in Maroochydore City Centre, representing a major milestone for the Sunshine Coast's growing CBD. As the precinct's first Premium A-Grade commercial office tower, the development responds to increasing demand for high-quality workplace space while reinforcing the city centre's vision as a connected, sustainable and future-focused destination.

Rising 15 storeys above the city centre, the building offers 10,000sqm of commercial space and is already nearing full occupancy, with major organisations including Unitywater, ANZ Bank, LPE, Mott MacDonald and Envest establishing a presence within the tower.

Sustainability has also been embedded throughout the development, with the building targeting 5 Star NABERS Energy and Green Star ratings, alongside a Silver WELL rating focused on occupant wellbeing. Energy-efficient systems, rooftop rainwater harvesting and connectivity to the precinct's Automatic Waste Collection System contribute to its strong environmental credentials.

The opening of 50 First Avenue reflects the continued momentum being experienced across Maroochydore City Centre as new businesses, residents and investment continue to shape the Sunshine Coast's new CBD. As the precinct grows, developments like 50 First Avenue are helping create a destination where people can work, connect and do business close to home.
