If you’re arriving by car, parking is available at the eight storey PARKnGO car park on Lightning Lane, along with several on-street and temporary parking options throughout the precinct. The PARKnGO car park includes accessible spaces, EV charging stations and motorcycle parking.

Maroochydore City Centre supports active transport with dedicated bike lanes and plenty of bike racks throughout the precinct, and publicly accessible end of trip facilities at the PARKnGO car park on Lightning Lane.

Future Public Transport: The Wave
As part of the Queensland Government’s 2032 Olympic Games Delivery Plan, ‘The Wave’ public transport system will bring metro services directly to the city centre.
The plan includes a new passenger rail line from Beerwah to Birtinya, and a metro connection from Birtinya to Maroochydore City Centre and Sunshine Coast Airport. This future rail and metro integration will provide fast, direct public transport to the CBD and beyond by 2032.
