Showdown Showcase

City Flicks is back at The MET for a special evening of local film under the stars.

In collaboration with Sunshine Coast Screen Collective, we’re bringing the Showdown Showcase to Maroochydore City Centre as part of Showfest, their annual multi-day film festival.

Settle in for a big-screen showcase of standout short films created by local writers, directors, cast and crew, featuring highlights from three seasons of Sunny Coast Showdown alongside fresh talent from the first-ever Showdown Shorts.

Hosted by Hot 91’s Sam, the evening will also feature games and prizes to be won, free popcorn, plus food and drinks available to purchase.

Bring your friends, grab a bite and settle in for a night of local film and entertainment under the stars.

Then join us in December for special Christmas screening of The Grinch. Click here for more information.
