Maroochy Private Hospital

Maroochy Private Hospital is a new 10-storey, $100 million medical facility in the heart of Maroochydore City Centre. Reaching practical completion ahead of schedule in September 2025, the hospital will open in early 2026 and forms a key part of the precinct’s emerging health and research hub.

With specialties across Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Plastic Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery and Pain Medicine, the hospital is designed to deliver patient-first care through seamless pathways, collaboration, and best-in-class facilities. Its clinical trials hub will be the largest of its kind in regional Australia, supported by a strong focus on innovation, education and specialist collaboration.

Targeting a 4-star Green Building rating and built with the support of more than 1,000 local tradespeople, the hospital will create over 400 local jobs and expand access to world-class healthcare across the Sunshine Coast.
